Jorge designed our new kitchen—during the pandemic, by the way, so not an easy job. Our kitchen is now easier to move around in, has more open space, a counter facing out from the kitchen with cabinets and shelving, and a genius mirror behind the sink that makes it look like we are in the foliage outside the sliding door. The light blue tile on the back wall is both modern and mid-century modern at the same time, opening the view into the living room. The kitchen is exceptionally well-designed. Despite construction challenges during the pandemic, we were able to use the kitchen sooner than expected, which was a bonus. Jorge also designed a deck with a cedar hot tub—transforming what was a dusty, dirty half-deck into a beautiful wooden deck and hot tub with a rock wall backdrop.
